About the position:

We are now looking for several meticulous and engaged Measurement Technicians who want to be an important part of our team. In this role, you will perform measurements, quality assure data, and ensure that our projects have an accurate and reliable foundation. You will work both in the field and in the office with post-processing and analysis.

Most of our assignments are located in Falun and Borlänge, as well as within a radius of about ten miles around Avesta and Gävle. We have offices in both Horndal and Borlänge, and also offer the possibility of remote work. A company car is included to facilitate your work.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform measurements, setting out, and control measurements in projects
• Process, analyze, and document measurement data
• Work with modern measuring instruments such as total stations, GPS/GNSS, and laser scanners
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other functions in projects
• Ensure that measurements and documentation comply with applicable standards
• Contribute to the development of routines and digital workflows

Your profile:

For us, your personal qualities are the most important. To succeed well in this role, we prefer that you have a background in measurement technology, geodesy, surveying, construction, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of measuring instruments and software such as Trimble, Leica, Topcon, AutoCAD, or Novapoint is advantageous, as well as a good understanding of digital workflows. You have good computer skills, a B driver's license, and are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are meticulous and quality-conscious, with a natural ability to solve problems, work independently, and plan your workday. At the same time, you are communicative and collaborative, and thrive in a role with many contact points. We are a measurement consultant with a discovery area in Dalarna, Gästrikland, Uppland, and Västmanland. From mountains to sea, we offer complete measurement services for both small projects and larger, more complicated projects.

We work with all types of assignments within geodetic measurement. Everything from construction and civil engineering setting out, to drone measurements of large areas, down to measuring machine parts within the industry to a tenth of a millimeter. Our clients are construction and civil engineering companies, industries, mining companies, municipalities, and authorities.

We work with everything from control measurements of ports in the Baltic Sea, to control and adjustment of lift systems in the mountains, mapping of the deepest mines, quantity regulations of roads, water and sewage, and dam work, to setting out building bodies and casting goods. We are driven by our curiosity for technology and the challenges we face in a constantly evolving industry.
